San Mateo Performing Arts Center

All of Broadway By the Bay's performances for this season will be staged at the San Mateo Performing Arts Center, located next to San Mateo High School at 600 N. Delaware Street in San Mateo. The theatre seats 1600 and is the largest stage between San Francisco and San Jose. Plenty of free parking is available for patrons. However, when attending a show, it is best to arrive early as it often requires 10-15 minutes to walk to the theatre from the most remote parking areas.

From NORTH Bayshore 101:
Take the Poplar Avenue exit in San Mateo and proceed west two blocks to Delaware. Turn right on Delaware and the Performing Arts Center will be on the right hand side of the street.

From SOUTH Bayshore 101:
Take the Peninsula Avenue exit in San Mateo off 101 and head west two blocks to Delaware. Turn left (south) on Delaware. The theater is about .2 (point two) miles down on the left side at 600 N Delaware.

From (NORTH or SOUTH) 280:
Take 92 East and connect with Bayshore (101) to the north. Continue north on 101 until you reach the Peninsula Avenue exit which wraps around back over the freeway going west. Go two blocks to Delaware. Turn left (south) on Delaware. The theater is about .2 (point two) miles down on the left side at 600 N Delaware.
