Academy Players

Players students discover, develop, and refine their individual talents through training, investigation, and awareness. While building on the foundations of theatrical training, the Players curriculum promotes creative independence while advancing the student’s development as a whole. Participants get to explore their strengths while pursuing their passion!   A rotation of daily  intensive workshops will train students in the skills of the session theme.

Session 3: July 1 - July 12

Musical Theatre: Acting and Voice

In this session, our Players members will develop their  abilities to analyze and express the dramatic elements of Musical Theatre. Students will learn how to approach a text, explore characters, and learn to live truthfully in imaginary circumstances, ultimately incorporating those choices into solo and ensemble singing. Students will have the opportunity to share their work with friends and family at the end of the session.

Final showcase will be held Friday, July 12th, at 6pm.

Tuition:  $850

* Note – there is no class on July 4th

Session 4: July 15 - July 26

Putting it Together

Players groups will each learn how to create a story plot, brainstorm songs, create choreography, and design production elements such as set and costumes. All instruction will be overseen by a professional instructional staff with a culminating performance on July 26th at the Fox Theatre.

Final showcase will be held Friday, July 26th, at 6pm.

Tuition:  $950
