Mia was raised in Contra Costa County, where she participated in local theatre productions and studied dance and voice. She has been working in theatre since her first job at the age of 17, as an administrative and artistic assistant at Next Big Thing Children’s Theatre in Danville. She joined our Youth Theatre Conservatory staff in 2009 and assistant directed our YTC productions of Fame, Pinocchio, and You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. She also teaches year-round Reader’s Theatre and Tiny But Mighty classes. Mia joined our administrative staff in 2010, after graduating from San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Communication Studies.
