Dear Broadway by the Bay community:
In order to ensure the health and welfare of our patrons and community-at-large, we have made the truly difficult decision to cancel the full run of The Sound of Music. As you can imagine, this is a huge disappointment to all of us but public health and safety are the most important factors to consider.
This crisis is having a paralyzing effect on our greater Bay Area arts community, and will have a drastic direct impact on our organization. This cancellation affects our actors, musicians, designers and staff. If you hold tickets for The Sound of Music, we ask you to donate the value of your tickets back to us for a tax-deductible receipt.
